The accident of my friend Albert has necessarily curtailed Explos ... End of the year, the ban is temporarily lifted diving and we return to complete the topographic survey.
Many things happen around this network, the research area Continent7 occupy much the idea of using means of radio-location is issued, the topography is important.
Always very marked by the accident, I fear a lot. The bottles are in place and Michael go.
Unfortunately a technical failure on a hardware topo not really designed to withstand water and mud prevents Michael to complete his mission post S5.
Still determined, I go back next week with the photo and topo stuff packed tightly. Everything goes well until the return.
When I returned to water in the S5, a small inlet of water is felt at the left shoulder, probably a little hole in my drysuit.
The constriction at the low point of the siphon makes me understand my pain, the zipper opens completely, another concern of stuff ...
Suddenly deprived of any means of buoyancy and thermal insulation of all, I'm sure I'll stay ...
I'm still alive, I want to go out and bring the job. At no time, I would consider dropping my precious kit containing photos and notes topos. No more than I thought to drop my weight belt elsewhere.
I do not remember too much of this return from these 5 traps, I just remember that the combination of water-filled post-trap was particularly boring. In reviewing the traps, I activate my regular inflator combination, it reassured me.

While we bossons lot surface, and Michael decides that topo torch, without my help.
I took a little dive but I prefer to look elsewhere ...
There is already talk of the return, the S6 is too tempting.
I'm very mixed, but decided to lend my support to Michael to return. TPPS: 10 pm at Cottage
August 2010
Finally, we decide to spend a few days in early August.
The objective is the S6.
Time passed and I realize as and measure portages I am again at peace with this cave.
Finally, it is both that we will take the S5.

Ports are particularly intense for 2 days. 2 BI6 and Bi4 to testify before the S3, we drool.

I crossed the S5 without difficulty and in passing I found the kit lost last time.
I feel good there, what a joy to go back!
Upon the arrival of Michael, the Bi4 and equipment are packaged in 2 kits promptly.
From here, the ride is to S6.
The launch is not obvious but very funny because it's not me glue myself. Michel
not go very long. 10 or 15 minutes perhaps, is not a good sign ...
The low point of S6 to -8, looks like a small room, probably a settling volume.
Towards -5, in the extension of the fracture which goes back to the ceiling of the gallery, he discovers the source of the water. The stirs is chased after him, and beyond it seems quite clear and he sees no walls.
Unfortunately, this passage is 30cm wide and extends 1.5 m to the bottom and clip ...

On Thursday, 8.5 is devoted to new ports. We repatriate the remaining 4 bottles at the foot of S2 and go out 2 of the cave. We put out the last 2 bottles will be brought back later.
