Exploration Report:
From November 8 to 11, we will install the base camp to house communal Foncegrive.
A nice little team for this campaign: Daisy, the wife of Michel, Didier Havelange the NHS, Jean-Luc Carron Ch'ti solitary explorer and shitter hole Robert Lavoignat, locals and one of the first explorers this source.
Objective: topo, point, video, photo, drink and good weather.

I glue the instalation of our rope guide for bearings. I do not dive alone, but with a special guest. Robert Lavoignat, one of the earliest explorers of this hole, following me camera in hand.
Crossing the mill is not an easy task, the current is strong and vibilité not terrible.
Once the rope in place, I wander around on my hand up to 160m. I feel confident and am very comfortable, although the campaign starts.
On leaving the mill, 20 minutes later, I m'apperçoit Robert is always there to film output. It must be numb with cold, poor thing.
We go together and after a few minutes of decompression we surface to make way for Didier.
This plunge a little over half an hour. It's his first dive in that hole and he also wears a B20 for the tip of the day. He will fight with the mill, but nevertheless passed without emcombre, it seems that he likes that hole. Michel
immersed in turn go to remove the scooter. He strives to rise above every time you shoot in the mill, the game is fun, but the current does not help us this weekend. Michael enjoys diving for a little stroll and visit the Well Lebel he did not know.
9/11/2008
we find Jean-Luc Carron at 10am in Champlitte. He comes to spend two days with us to lend a hand.
Michel from peak today. He topography of the area between 380 and 430 bells and then continued until the tip 480. He puts the reel just after a third big bell. This one is separated from the second by a passage in roll at -15.
Meanwhile, Jean-Luc attempts to cross the mill with a 10 liter for the next day. It must renounce and declare that "it is intimate, sporty but not horrible."
He nevertheless re-immerse for unwinding a yarn meter that allows me to lift the topography of the entrance area to the beginning of our wire explosion. Having this time crossed the mill with much less difficulty, he took the opportunity to raise the scooter Michel who joined us in the meantime.
Didier hand turn and makes a 10 liter bottom of laminoir.Je am shortly after the topographical survey, I bother with the second B10 I laid down for the tip the next day.
11/10/2008 This morning we were to meet Mr Kornprobst, Mayor of the village and very interested in our explorations. Mr Voisin we learn that unfortunately came early and we were not there yet.
Didier was the first dive to enjoy a better visibility than previous days. Some concern with his rebreather we will fall behind on the plane and finally Didier postpones his dive and decided to repair his machine quietly. Michel
me again lent his Apollo and decides bi12 300bars.Je to carry a relay 7 Extra liter until the recovery of my bi10 the other side of the mill, to -32.
While "I refine" my preparation (which I dragged ...), Michel immersed with Apollo to go and lodge near the bi10. I am in great shape, I feel that I'll make a nice plongée.Moins 10 minutes later, Michael resurfaced. The scooter is wedged full throttle in the middle of the mill, the control lever is broken against a rock.
Too bad, I'll try the tip to the palm, if not make a beautiful ballad because I doubt that my gas is self sufficient.
But an idea comes to me seeing as is Jean-Luc back of his van.
He left immediately and get back his own Apollo in working condition, fully loaded, and lend it to me free.
Michel restarts again with the second gear.
I crossed 10 minutes later in the pit entrance, visibility is poor, not even m'apperçoit pas.Récupération Scooters and relay 10 liters, I give up the 7 and I go to the North-East ... It grows well
, there is a current and sometimes I do not advance.
Also, my heavy loads really bother me, it will do with it. I detest
already a relay 10 liters just before the Well of Vertigo, and the second point 381, just before the restriction. I can hardly recognize the place.
The Apollo is abandoned in the first bell, I examine these bells but no departure is visible. Now
topo Point Michel. I let myself sink into a well until -15, it follows a rolling mill at the bottom of sand and gravel on 2 or 3 meters and I asser back quickly to the surface of the bell 3rd, 10m long. I found the reel, ready for the tip.
I let myself sink back towards the bottom of the bell and quickly reaches a low of -12. The gallery then rises gently interrupted by some erosion of blades, it seems to zigzag, sometimes a mooring right, sometimes left. The visibility is bad and I rarely n'apperçoit walls, it is not impossible that there is any other new bells.
arrived on a scree of large blocks, the reel "hold." And no, it is empty, the remaining 100 meters were not asser.
these rocks and the block size leave me suspecting the presence of a large bell on top of me. We'll see about that next time.
Return is tedious, the visibility does not help with navigating the scooter and the relays do not help. We will return in the spring.
Conclusion:
still a very good weekend of exploration, the exellent team spirit that helped us a lot, 150 meters from the first, bringing the development of the cavity to 685 meters.
As for Daisy, she preferred to ride a bike in the rain ... Damn bike ... :-)
